Will my lovebird babies survive ?

Hiya, I have a pair of lovebirds who have been breeding for 2 years now and last week they hatched some more chicks, the chicks are now about 4-6 days old, but sadly last night someone went in the aviary and left the door open and most of my lovebirds have flown out, all that is left is the mum sitting on the chicks, will i need to take the chicks from her and hand rear them or will she do fine without the dad being there ? i wasnt sure is she would die from pining for him, or maybe the chicks will die as the food isnt being properly regurgitated now ? please help! thanks
