Do your drive you nuts (22 weeks along)?

My appear to be having an identity crisis and I'm going a bit batty. For one thing, the areola are the size of Chips Ahoy cookies, and about as lumpy. My used to be small, somewhat flat, and a very fair pink. For another, the actual nipple itself appears to be dividing. IT'S AGONY. I am guessing these are milk ducts forming or growing or some such, but the process is so incredibly itchy and painful (kinda like that drive-you-nuts not-quite-pain super-severe itching actually) that I want to take a carrot peeler to them! (Not really.) How long does this last? I have to be at work and I can't go around scratching or tugging at my all day to relieve the acutely itchy/painful, near constant twinge thing. Moreover, the part where the are splitting really does hurt, in a throbbing way. There is some sticky liquid leaking out but I don't think it's milk, maybe just ICF from the minor injury caused by dividing cells. Anyway, it's making me nuts. What can I do? Help!
