How unfair was this English exam?

I didn't do this exam but I'm afraid for English language you have to be prepared to interpret all different kinds of text (be it broadsheet or tabloid style.) But the motorbike questions do seem quite unfair.Our one was a leaflet on Global warming and another (what I thought was poorly presented) text on global warming.
