Does anyone know any GOOD historical fiction books?

I'm doing a book ysis project thats due a week from now and I read half of Arthur the King by Allan Mie but I thought it was horrible and none of the information processed...Do you have any recomendations?? I'm only a freshman though so not too long lol Thanks!!
