Do you feel you need to be perfect because you're gay/bi/trans?

Do you feel that, because you suffer so much prejudice, you can't have any big personality flaw, because if you do people will judge you even more just because you're gay? I try to be really, really good, so others won't think gays are bad, just because this individual gay person is flawed, like everybody else. How about you, are you a perfectionist as well? How can we overcome it?
