Are the british rock band SLADE underated?

I was trawling through some of my old slade albums from the early 70's yesterday and was amazed how the music still stood up today. Gudbye to jayne, mamma we're all crazee now, my freind stan, *** on feel the noize (the mis-spelling's are how they appear on the record covers!) The ballard's they wrote are beautiful too, God bless jim lea and noddy holder!
